Service Description

Join us for weekly drop-in Meditation classes, where we will get together to explore different levels of relaxation and dive into the space of stillness. The practice will start with body / space awareness exercises, followed by practical relaxation exercises. We will explore gentle breathing techniques suitable for every-day use and learn how to slow down. The classes are simple, practical and grounding. The goal is to learn what meditation is, how to do it, getting comfortable with a longer practice and increasing our awareness. Meditation has many benefits - from improving how we feel, act and react in the world, to a sustainable long term transformation. These classes aim to be a welcoming introduction to one of the most powerful tools we can learn as human beings - to become stiller, notice more and cultivate presence. The practice is suitable for everyone, however if you have any questions or you need any adjustments / extra assistance at all, please do get in touch with Maja - The recommended donation for a class is £5,(but equally please never let money be a barrier to joining the class). Please if possible book in advance at: Drop-ins welcome. About the teacher Maja is an artist and a yoga teacher, who started her journey in stillness 10+ years ago. From many things she tried and places she travelled, meditation was the only practice that made a real difference in her being. ‘If there is one thing I can choose from to share with others, is the ability to let go and be comfortable with yourself and the space beyond mind & movement”. She is committed to help others becoming comfortable with meditation practice, which she believes can improve physical, emotional and mental wellbeing and lit the sparkle of joy, for this wonderful thing called life.
